Cărășeu settlement is located in Romania, Satu Mare county.A settlement in Satu Mare county, east of Satu Mare, on the left bank of the Someș.Cărășeu is a settlement from the Árpád era, its church being already mentioned at the beginning of the 14th century.Even then, his name was written as Krassó and belonged to the Megyesi manor until the end of the 15th century.In 1409, members of the Csáky family wanted to acquire Krassó, in the 1500s it belonged to the Báthory family, then in 1632-1633 it was acquired by Pál Bagossy.It had several owners in the 18th century: the Count Teleki, Baron Vécsey, Wesselényi, Darvay, Gáspár, Tarczy, Egri, Solymossy and Mándy families, and in the 19th century, in addition to them, the Count Dégenfeld families, Count Karacsay, Baron Radák and Katona.
