Cultural Associations – Szamoshat https://szamoshat.ro Thu, 07 Dec 2023 11:13:20 +0000 en-GB hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.9.4 Association Trei Hotare Bercu https://szamoshat.ro/en/association-trei-hotare-bercu/ Thu, 07 Dec 2023 11:13:20 +0000 https://szamoshat.ro/?p=6644

The Trei Hotare Bercu Association was founded in March 2011. Based on the operating rules of our association, it undertakes not only agricultural but also cultural tasks, preserving traditions, organizing events, and drafting projects.
In 2012,  we met the leadership of the Zajta commune in Hungary, with the name  Asociatia Vitéz Gaál Lajos, whose members were already experienced, folk actors and dancers. They were looking for a foreign cultural association due to the implementation of a cross-border project, the purpose of which is to learn about cultures and present performances to each other.
In all this, our mediator was Anikó Lengyel, a teacher from Bercu, who settled in Zajtán and specialized in Hungarian literature.
As a first step, the folk song circle was formed.
Inspired by the popular dancers from Zajta, our young people also got into the mood. It has been proven that young people are talented.
The reformed churchman of Bercu, Zsombor Ilonczai was quick to recognize these qualities and from time to time increasingly daring polyphonic performances and songs were and still are practiced by the traditionalists, while folk dance lessons were undertaken by Zsolt Kása and Melinda Kása, and in the second year, jr. Karoly Szarvas.

Within our school institution, the harmonious combination of classical didactics with the modern active-participative one, centered on the student, is ensured. In the AEL office, students are provided with initiation into the use and mastery of information technology. There are permanent concerns on the part of the management of this educational institution regarding the enrichment of material endowments, and the improvement of work comfort through funding from the state budget, local funding, sponsorships, and donations. The performance of the teaching staff in our unit can be characterized by professionalism, methodical and didactic skills, dedication, and humanism. The performance of the teaching staff in our unit can be characterized by professionalism, methodical and didactic skills, dedication, and humanism.
The involvement of teaching staff in all forms of training organized at the school level, CCD, ISJ, is also a sure proof of the quality of the teaching and managerial act in the school. The training and education of our students are also continued through various extracurricular activities, organized at all schooling levels, training a large number of teachers and students.
The harmonious collaboration with the representatives of the local community is also beneficial to the school. Currently, the school and its representatives are witnessing the phenomenon of the migration of the active labor force abroad, a phenomenon that affects the family unit, and its connection with the school, generating a phenomenon of unmotivated absenteeism from classes students, unfinished school situations, corrections, dropouts, and repetitions. The school, through its advisors, comes to support these children, reducing as much as possible the destructive consequences for students, parents, the school, and the community.

Boglárka Sass, who creates value from waste https://szamoshat.ro/en/boglarka-sass-who-creates-value-from-waste/ Thu, 07 Dec 2023 11:02:14 +0000 https://szamoshat.ro/?p=6625

Environmental protection is one of the basic criteria of conservatism because protecting the environment is primarily a value for traditional people.
I deal primarily with waste processing.
My goal is to re-educate the big industrial sewing shops to “zero waste” technology, that is, to make sure that nothing goes to waste. We create unique creative pieces by turning waste into value. We produce bags of our own design from waste received from sewing factories, the decoration of which also includes folk Hungarian motives.
We also offer accessories for children’s rooms, storage, pillows, and toys for children, and we also make creative advertising items for individual orders.

Today, every product bears the imprint of his hands. He has been working in his own workshop since 2000, and even if the competition from big stores is making its presence felt more and more often, the craftsman does not give up and always comes up with new ideas to meet his customers, who find him most of the time at fairs. The objects designed and made by him are a harmonious combination of modern geometric shapes with elements and traditional manufacturing. No two purses are the same or one knife sheath is identical to another. During the period when the current school was extended with one floor, grades V-VIII were located in the upper part of the current town hall. In September 2016, the school moved back to its designated location, where education still takes place. The schoolyard was equipped with an artificial grass soccer field and a mini soccer field for kindergarten children. A statue about Bálint Csűry can be found near the main entrance. In the schools in Ciuperceni and Agrișu-Nou, pupils learn on Romanian language. Both schools were renovated.
The school in Agrișu-Nou will receive a completely new building, in which there will be a festive hall in addition to the classrooms.

Association for the Preservation of Tradition https://szamoshat.ro/en/association-for-the-preservation-of-tradition/ Tue, 05 Dec 2023 09:03:08 +0000 https://szamoshat.ro/?p=6509

Even before the idea of establishing the Association for the Preservation of Traditions was formulated, a handful of people thought that it was necessary to start activities that primarily have a community-creating power, are related to the preservation of traditions and customs, and serve as a good basis for transmitting folk music, folk dances, and folk songs to the younger generation, for age groups.
In the summer of 2017, the Folk Dance and Crafts Camp was organized at the county level.
From this year, Orașul Nou became the new location of the camp.

These programs motivated the creation of the Association for the Preservation of Tradition in December 2017, whose main goals include learning, introducing, and presenting the folk music and dance traditions of the Hungarian-speaking region, as well as collecting and researching our folk traditions.

During community life and dance rehearsals, social and ethical education, personality development, resistance, and movement culture also take center stage.
Currently, the association wants to continue the initiatives it started, with which it tries to unite the communities in local and nearby towns, placing great emphasis on regular work with children, searching and collecting folk customs and songs that are still alive, and organizing folk dances and folk song occasions, which are available all over the world, for age groups.
