In a letter of donation, King Andrew II gives the land that today bears the name of Micula to Count Merk for special merits. In 1456, during the reign of Ladislau V, the coat of arms of this land was designed. In 1657 Mikulai Andras cast a bell on which the coat of arms of his family appears, which is still in the tower of the Reformed church in the locality. The inhabitants of this place were not spared the turmoil of the battles of the Tatar army.
