Adrian (Adorján in Hungarian) is a component locality of Livada city in Satu Mare county, Transylvania, Romania. Adrian was already a well-known settlement in 1262.Adrian already had a church at that time.The village later belonged to the Adorjányi (Adrian) family, which was related to the Morócz family from Medieșu Aurit.In 1717, the village also fell victim to Tatar attacks, but was soon rebuilt.In the 1800s, it had several owners: the Vécsey, Sepsy, Félegyházi, Jakó, Melczer, Tóth, Daróczi and Ráthony families had properties here.
