Kisnameny village in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county. The name Kisnameny is first mentioned in documents in the 15th century. At that time, the settlement already had a church and a priest: in 1332, its priest, named Barnabás, paid 4 garas and 40 denarii papal tax based on surviving dataThe name of the village was then written as Nomen, in 1387 as Kysnomyn, in 1462 as Namen. The settlement was the ancient property of the Matuchsinayaks. 14–15. century, the Drághfi family owned property here. Péter Dorchánnyi in 1524, István Lónyay in 1585, Mihály Macskássy in 1614, Pál Németh in 1640, Count Mihály Teleki in 1744, and then the Ajtay, Becsky, Domahidy and Kölcsey families were owners. In 1670, the county also held its meeting here. In the first half of the 19th century, it was owned by the Tolnay, Domahidy, Isaák, Gulácsy and Mándy families. In the early 1900s, Endre Hadik-Barkóczy had a large property here; count Ilona Hadik took one part from the Domahidayaks and the other part from the lord tenants.
